Overview

METRIC PACKAGING SOLUTIONS herein referred to as “METRIC” specifies the following terms & conditions, outlined below which must be agreed to in order to purchase from us, and make use of our website and any other products or services it may provide.

Limitations of Liability

In no event shall METRIC be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business or profits.

Pricing

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars, and are only valid for the duration of their display. In the event of a pricing error, METRIC reserves the right to change the price without notice & cancel or refuse any order for the items listed at the incorrect price. We also reserve the right to change prices based on changing economic, logistic and manufacturing conditions. For accurate pricing please verify your products online. Quotations on large quantities are available on request – please speak with your area sales representative.

Sales Tax

METRIC is required to charge goods & services tax as well as applicable provincial sales taxes on items for which a sales tax exemption certification has not been provided. When ordering, please provide any valid exemption certificate.

Payment Terms

Accounts must be established in order to make a purchase from METRIC. Terms are conditional to your specific account profile. To establish an account, please complete and submit our Request Account Form.

Purchases may then be made through Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express® or Account. All credit card payments must be made with card issued by a Canadian financial institution – U.S. & other foreign issued cards cannot be accepted. All payments must be in Canadian dollars. If the purchaser fails to make payment within their specified payment terms, to us OR our other division “METRIC STORAGE SYSTEMS”, METRIC may hold all pending shipments until such payment is made, or may, at its option, cancel all or any part of unshipped order.

Modification of Terms

No addition to or modification of terms and conditions shall be binding on METRIC unless agreed to by METRIC in writing. METRIC's acceptance of any order shall not be construed as agreement to any additional terms and conditions.

Special Orders & Product Availability

Products are subject to availability at time of order. Some special order items must meet manufacturer's minimum order quantity requirements at time of order, and may require additional shipping time.

Delivery

Freight rates quoted are to be considered dock-to-dock. If extra handling is required, additional charges may apply. METRIC can also offer consolidated shipping for large volume customers.

Shipping errors, missing items or damages must be reported to METRIC within 1 business day of receipt of shipment (damages must be accompanied by a signed bill of lading acknowledging the damage).

FOB Points

The products displayed on this website ship FOB METRIC's stocking warehouse, or FOB the manufacturer as indicated within product details. Not all products are stocked and shipped from our location. Upon submission of your quote or order the shipping origin and any applicable freight charges will be confirmed.

Exports

METRIC offers products only for delivery and use within Canada. METRIC is not responsible for any product sale intended for export. Where products purchased from METRIC are to be exported, the purchaser assumes sole responsibility for arranging the export of the products from Canada and their importation into other countries and shall at all times comply with all applicable laws in relation thereto, including but not limited to export control laws, rules and regulations of Canada.

Limited Warranty

Products are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship only in accordance with the individual manufacturer's warranty policy. If METRIC determines the product to be defective in workmanship or material, it will be repaired or replaced at METRIC's sole option, as the buyer's exclusive remedy.

Return Policy

Custom & non-standard items are not returnable/refundable.

If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with a stock product you receive from METRIC, you may return the product within 30 days from the time of receipt, for a refund or exchange of the product you purchased – less any applicable delivery and return freight charges. Within this time products may be returned, freight prepaid, and must be in their original packaging and in resalable condition. A Return Authorization Number must be obtained from METRIC's Customer Service Department, and the client must provide the Invoice or System/Order number at the time of the request. METRIC has the right to refuse any shipments not having this authorization. METRIC inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, used or non-resalable items. Returns may be subject to restocking fees based on the return policy of the manufacturer, as well as shipping or other fees and must be received within 10 days of receiving the Return Authorization Number.
